Notice of Flushing Hydrants
The Colby Water Department will be flushing fire hydrants April 29th to May 3rd between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. Colby residents should be aware that during this period, the water in certain areas of the city may be discolored or cloudy. This is due to sediment breaking free during the flushing period that was not entirely cleared out. The colored water does not pose a health hazard, but may cause staining to laundry.
